That was a baby MOMO seat, and its Josh not Joe Edmonds.

He might have spelled my name right but most people can not pronounce it right.
It's Live-ls-berger, I think they kept announcing it Liversberger

I took home 4 awards:

4th 4door Wild Class
Best VW
2nd Best Fabrication/Ice
db's Best of Euro

Congrats to everyone else that won

damn, if i would have been paying attention and came to this show I prolly could have gotten the daily driver award. 130,xxx on a 99 Jetta that is also modded unlike that GTI.

Derek's Golf (the big turd looking one) looks a lot different without the schmidts and the badgeless and upper grill spoiler. I think it looked better before.

what??! that GTI looks stock. Stock body ( can't really see the sleepy boser), stock suspension, stock wheels. From what I see in the engine compartment it looks stock, looks like a stock interior. Where is the 10k in mods? I don't see them anywhere. Granted the car looks mint

dude if you want to do subtle euro mods thats awesome and your car looks hot, but u can expect someone who dosnt know the scene to notice everything, thats why the mods are subtle...it would be like you picking out every mod on a jdm car, but that shouldnt discourage the owner...im sure your car would do good at a vw show, theres only one phrase that describes NCCA shows, you gotta pay to play

i just think the ncca should get off there ass and hire someone with some knolage, seems like every show i go to the jude just walks around my car and thats it. i tell him whats up and he acts like im bs ing him. the judge at this show didnt say anything like, nice. or cool or whatever. I could walk around to about any car at that show, euro rice jdm and tell you what was done, what company makes it, how rare it is and how much it cost. At hershey i was parked next to another mk3 and the judge couldnt tell the diffrence in my hood. what a moron

How many VWs were there at the show that were actually done nice? Off the top of my head: B5 Turbo, the Beetle, mk4gasm, yours, db's, and corey's. That is a total of 6 nice euro vws. Why would the NCCA hire someone specifically for VWs or Euros to judge less than 10 cars.

VWs and tuner shows NEVER went hand in hand. Plain and simple. Complaining about judging or NCCA is absolutely typical. There will ALWAYS be someone that will cry at the end of the show. Take your own advice and don't show at NCCA shows if you are going to get mad all the time.

Until there is a big following of VWs to go to these Vision shows or Doug's shows, the euro knowledge of judges will be lacking. Look what happen this year for VIP. The VIP cars number went way up this year because of the new VIP awards. What did the NCCA do? Hired a VIP Specific judge to go around the country and judge the cars. Last year there were so many complaints about judging. This year, I have no recieved ONE email.

I go to shows to hang out, shoot the shit with other people, and help support numbers for the club. BTW: the judge who judged your car and mine ownS a vw. Just because he wasn't wasn't receptive to your mods doesn't mean he didn't notice them. Be social with the judge. Him and I joked around and bull shit about my car, his car, and other shit. It's ALLLLL about presentation.

Congrats to all the winners. Nice to finally meet you mk4gasm and B5 Turbo.

so isnt farcone vip, and the rest of new image and he wide bod audi. who judged them? if you didnt. there was actually 15. indoor vw' and 5 or so out side. i think thats more than enought for one judge, especually if you throw the bmw's mercedes and audi's in with that. Im not pissed i didnt win anything at the show. THere were some better cars than mine in my class. but how does bjimmy get in street? Im saying the judge was a ass and he spent about 1 min on my car if that. If he owns a vw it to drive to work. But i will say at hershey i was in street class with 1-5 awards and there was 10 cars total. 2 stock saturns, 2 stock xb's and a mk2 jetta with a wing and 14" wheels. i didnt place. wich means 1 of those cars beat me and none of the other 4 should of either.
