I was told the turnout was larger than last year (which was around 230 or so IIRC) despite the sketchy weather, but this year there were many more watercooled cars than aircooled cars...typically it was around a 50/50 split.

They need to work on the classes a little bit. I was thrown into the modified category but some of the people in the stock class had way more mods than I did lol. And I think Passats should all be judged together, would make things simpler.

yea, i should have probably been in the stock class. i think pretty much everyone in my class had wheels. but it was a fun time and i wasn't there to win anything, so whatever.

I was showing because a couple of my friends were as well... and you get a nice parking spot too Anyone else scrape on the wood when pulling into the field?

i couldn't believe that they put me in the modified class...i guess when i told them that i had wheels, exhaust, and rust they must have taken me seriously...i wasn't sure if RUST was a modification ...anyhow i had a good time cause my wife & I only entered so that we could get a nice parking spot and so we could judge...
