Stupid state, can't wait till I fly out of this crap hole tomorrow.
I got a damn speeding ticket (7mph over), and a parking ticket in less than 24 hours...haven't had either in years!
Bad drivers, crappy bars, boring nightlife, easier to make a left turn in NJ.
Only saving grace is the great eateries.
Let's hope Idaho has more to offer.

they actually gave you a ticket for doing 7mph over? that blows. I know when I lived in DE and here in MD, you have to be doing at least 10mph before they will pull you over.
Hopefully IdaHO is better for ya!

Yeah...I didn't like Michigan either when we visited. I'm not sure if it was because it was in the middle winter or what, but it was very depressing to me.

of course it would be to a mexican in the middle of winter, duh too cold, and snow
Well, I touched down in Idaho 3 1/2 hours ago, and it has already made up for my Michigan mis-adventure.
I could live here...for real!
Reminds me of a small Vermont town (Brattleboro or Keene), lots of outdoorsy-hippie crap. Tons of little cafe eateries, bike/skate shops, parks, co-ops, etc. I love it.
An half hour after checking into my hotel, I had a full squish mountain bike rented, and was climbing ridgeline trails in Hulls Gulch nature preserve. I wish I brought my bikes, it's a cyclists heaven out here.
More later...

Drove througha sick canyon, and ran over a tumble weed, on the way to tonights destination of Twin Falls.
See what kind of trouble we can stir up here tonight.
Onto Burley and Pocatello tomorrow...
