Im being dead serious, I cant tell from your post becuase of what you said at the bottom what makes you sick that it happened or what they posted about it?
I would like to see the 5 minutes that lead up to that altercation before I pass judgement on the Cop. Personally, I think there was probably something more than just "skateboarding" that got the original kid arrested, and the others were aggrivated assault. Touch a cop, get the cuffs, I don't have any problem with that.
Ive been to Hot springs on that exact piece of pavement, just for a random FYI.
Also, I skated for the better part of a decade and not once did I get into an altercation with a cop. I was asked not to skate at certain places, and when I said ok and left, nothing happened to me. Wierd how that works.

From what I've read, the cop tackled the first kid without warning. His excuse was that the kid was breaking a city ordinance.
And Josh... I put that at the bottom because I didn't want people to come on here and say "Cops are so stupid" "Fuck cops" etc.
Cop has been on the force for less than 2 years, he's on administrative leave with a pending investigation. His boss isn't too happy with the way he choked/attacked 4 juveniles.
The world would be a better place without cops like that. I don't care what led up to it - he blew it -they are just kids. Cops need to focus on Robbers/Rapists/Murders not skateboarding kids/window tinters/j walkers.

i agree! skateboarding isnt that big of a deal. i hope this cop gets fired for his wrong doings
That cop will loose his job over that. It's good those kids had a cam. You could tell that the other cop didn't want to be part of what was going on at all.
that video pisses me off. That cop went way to far! Because, seriously was choking necessary? NO! when i skated i had boards confiscated and broken but that was the worst. Granted to would love for them to try and break my bike now, but it is just sad. I am not anti cops by any means. But, when you get power tripping fools like that it just rubs me the wrong way.
