after obtaining the trans code that i needed for my car from here (jfryauff and fourt1thirty, you guys rock) i needed to find the part. i went out on the internet and found this link.......http://www.usedpartscentral.com/cgi-.../requester.cgi

i got about 8 responses within 2 hours from all over the east coast. and they each had much better pricing and availability than my area. i found what i needed for $150 less than what the guy i found around here wanted. and that includes shipping. and a 90 day warranty. and they cover the shipping if there is something wrong and you need to send it back. now for you pa guys, well from what i here you are in dub-land so you can find what you need (kress/harry's.thanks kaos) but for those other forum users looking for something in an area that is sparse when it comes to used vw parts, this link may prove helpful. this link is not for aftermarket stuff......just repalcement parts. thought that i would share.....hope it helps someone out........
