PLEASE HELP!!!

I HAVE A 2000 JETTA GLS VR6 AND JUST PUT A COLD AIR INTAKE ON IT AND NOW IT IS RUNNING HOTTER THAN NORMAL. HAS ANYONE ELS HAD THIS PROBLEM? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Is it a real CAI or is it a P-flow style intake? Might have better response in the MK4 section too....
