Default finally....

so after my horrible incident from h20 where my car blew up i finally got my car back from AP Tuning and they did an excellent job.. it took a little bit of time but it was all worth it... it takes time to do a job like this, but anyways on with the pics.. even though they are crappy just took a few tn to show u guys.. i'll have better ones up later this season

I have c2 500 software and fueling, dual ball bearing garret 60-1 in a turbonetics 57 trim t4 that was bored out and stuffed in there, also a 2.8 eurospec short block with forged rods and pistons, other stuff

and before it was turbo charged

Is that last shot what you had prior to the new turbo setup? It looks like a Rotrex charger, but hard to tell from the pic.

The statement directly above it makes it a little easier.

Car sounded great Saturday, glad it is finally running well for you after all you have into it. You should put a sticker on the bumper for the shop that got it running right

Awesome that you finally have your car back alas that description of your turbo makes no sense at all. Garrett only makes a standard journal bearing 60-1 in a T04S compressor housing. Thus it would be pointless to take a standard Garrett cartridge and make it fit in said "57trim T4", being that a Turbonetics T4 starts at a .58 AR on center, tang open or divided.

Besides Turbonectics makes a 60-1 with a ceramic ball bearing CHRA that is a $350 option.

Im not trying to be an ass by any means but do you know what turbocharger you are even running?

Personally I think it this point a 65lb/min GT3582R would be alot more efficient.

I had tom send the turbo to blouch turbo, these guys can do basically anything with turbos, so I told them to do what they would do... so they put a dual ball bearing garret custom specs actually. because I have a on center exhaust manifold... (thats why I kept the turbonetics housing) They did bore out the cold side to fit a larger compressor wheel in there. also i think honed out the hot side. They said the internals were good for 80 extra break hp at 30 psi (so like maybe 50 max) i can reach 6 PSI right before 3K if i start out at like 2k in a high gear so i have an a mazing broad power band now and it;s so sweet... the low end torque is amazing

I do not know the EXACT specs of the compressor wheel housings and what not just was giving you guys an idea..

and body work is soon to be started... anybody want the mirrors? i'll sell them is someone wants them

The turbo is by far awesome. Holden shut the car off and for like 5 minutes you could hear the wheel still spinning...
