Default My front end is complete!




I don't think anything else is gonna happen to my car for a while because I leave for school soon. But next summer, the body should be complete and I'll be happy.

Looks really good, I always liked the black euro rubstips.
How about those breaks...did you get them on yet?

Very nice I love the black strips look as well...any plans to do the side and back strips as well?

Yup. I just have to finds spare rubstrips to paint. I don't want to spray my original ones because I like the option of going back. That might wait til next summer though because I leave the car in two weeks. Gonna get votex sides and a GLI rear too. Maybe an M3 spoiler also. Should be nice.

Thanks. I used Krylon Semi-Flat. Also used it on my grill, lights, rear badge, and antenne base. I think when I do the rest I am going to repray it using this trim paint to get some texture out of it. My grill needs a respray bad too.

Looks great! If you're looking for a textured look, Duplicolor makes a textured black paint. I have the link to the product below. A buddy of mine from York VW did it to his wife's Jetta and it looked great.
