Is that a 2 door sedan? Hard to tell from the pics...looks sweet though indeed, we do not have the Polo here in the U.S. but as far as reccomendations go, you can't go wrong with a good suspension and wheel/tire combo!

Not bad. I love those rims. Get some stretch and a little poke, slam it, and call it a day.

My guess is a little less than a few tired old stallions

50 BHP!
You could also opt for the whopping 1.3-litre / 60 BHP engine swap. :P

What about the G40? Does that swap in there?

You'll need the engine (G40-PY) with its boost pipes, distributor, supercharger, clutch pressure plate, clutch plate, alternator, starter motor, intercooler, wiring loom and ECU. If the engine has come out of a G40 then get the brake callipers to, as they will come in handy later on. The GT gearbox seems to be the popular choice for this conversion, but beefed up driveshafts might be needed. http://www.polog40.co.uk/ has some good information on G40 conversions.
