Default Red Rado 1.8 16valver, Updates added, been slammed now too!

Not many mods done, but it has Wheelmania Montana 17' Alloys
that were added just after we bought it. We bought it with stainless steal custom made exhaust, racing steering wheel and personal reg.It also has a drilled air box with K+N Element.

To be added when we have the equipment and time available; already have lowering springs to lower 40mm( to those who swear by lowering rados we live in Speed Hump city so care will be taken not to drag the bottom off my pride and joy. Also to be added soon is a new de-badged grill with eyebrow. When I have cash Angel Eyes will be fitted.

Desired mods:Engine conversion(1.8T 20v/24v)would be brill
Full re-spray once cash is available is a must (Flaming Stone Chips)

Dont want to do too much as rados dont really need a lot of modding I loved it when I first saw one when I was a teenager(I'm 35 now)

Yay We bought our new de-badged grill and eyebrow from VolksBits, not far from the city centre. What a difference if you buy parts separately - if we had bought a grill and eyebrow combined it wouldve cost £84, we bought the grill for £25 and the Eyebrow for £29- wheres the sense in that?
The grill had to be adapted, the clips were in the wrong place as it was from a later rado, also my boyfriend managed to cut his fingers in the process - ouch (bled for ages). The eyebrow has been sprayed to match the bodywork, its ready for fitting now although weather is crap at the mo.
Wanted to fit the lowering springs but the weather stopped that too, will keep you posted

New eyebrow and grill now fitted just need some good weather to fit the lowering springs. Will put some pics on here when its finished. Just need to save for my full re-spray now.

I now have a better pic of the Rado with new grill and eybrow. The next thing now the weather in Blighty is getting better, is adding the lowering springs.

Thanks - The Rims are from Wheel Mania and a personal Design from the owner of the company. Not only does he stock leading brands, he has his own designs too and very individual which is why i chose these, ive only seen two other cars with them on.

Due to a hopefully minor engine problem we have a set back on mods, the engine has died and its a trial and error job as there is no power to the coil or the sparkplugs, On holiday/vacation from work so this week will be sorting it out

Still no joy at getting the Rado back on the road. We have replaced the coil, the sparkplugs, the HT leads, Earth wires+ parts of the Ignition Unit. The car turns over but doesnt fire up, no spark to the coil. My fella thinks its the ECU now but we are getting a guy with a diagnostics thingy to come and plug into the computer. I miss driving my Rado.
