Well i just got ahold of a copy of Photoshop and wanted to see what my car would look like with a red/smoked theme cause i have been thinkin bout goin that route. I smoked the headlights(the right one looks really crappy cause i suck at this), added euro rub strips, a dark tint, made the wheels black and then added a silver lip. What u guys think? look good or should i be forever banned from pshop?

It went from this...

To this...

And then i added a silver lip to the wheels...

I don't really care for the rub strips, but besides that, it looks pretty sweet

here is my pchop of your car. you forgot to lower it so i slammed it for you! i think your jetta would look hot if you do it exactly as this pic. also it was hard for me to photoshop smoked ecodes so i just tried and there is the result.

by the way i used to be like u in photoshop. all you have to do is learn some of the techniques and your set.

You guys are good. I tried to p/shop my car to see what it would look like with my rims black and ended up with two shitty black hockey pucks. Then I tried to get rid of the backgound in my sig pic and spent like hours erasing parts of the car. I think I need a guide too.

Use the extract tool for this. Using smart highlighting, you just trace the edge of your car, and use the fill tool to fill it out. Then hit extract and it will capture out only your dub.

The intercooler is a RCE (raf carrera enterprises) custom piece. The lights were stolen from a real joey modded car; resized, shaped and skewed to fit properly. The wheels and strips were desaturated and recolored using different adjustment layers.

If you look carefully, the hood directly above the headlights has molded eyebrows. hehe. Thats why the heads look a little smaller and the line between them and the grill doesnt quite line up like stock.

Or you can trace your car and do a reverse select and hit the delete button.
