They tried to do this before and failed.I can't beleavethey are trying it again. These wheels suck period. I remember when BBS tried it. Mad complaints. It just does not work

what were the complaints? just splitting and cracking? i would think these would be a pain to take care of. i wouldn't want to do any hard driving on these with the fear of them breaking

They use CF wheels on motorcycles all the time with no problem...granted a bike weighs considerably less than a car...obviously. These use a Magnesium alloy as the center...I am assuming, since straight Magnesium is very weak itself. The main problem is not there strength, but the fact that they are no repairable at all! Once broken, that's it...CF cannot be repaired, it must be replaced.
If anyone gets these, they will most likely be super rich, and not give an F, or it will be for their trailer queened show car.

Basicly chipping cracking and breaking totaly causing major accidents. The wheel were made for track use only and people were selling them for street cars back in the mid 90's.
A drugdealer around my onld neiborhood in NY had them he totaled his benz when he hit a pot hole on the LIE.the rim just shattered

Yea those wheels are ugly and way to damn expensive, especially if you curb rash them. Your F'd! Thats like them Asanti wheels that cost like $250,000!!! Thats insane.
