Default 2000 - AUDI TT 1.8T FWD - Suspension Replacement

Hello people,

My TT is approaching 75,000 miles now and I can tell that the suspension is beginning to go. It has began "floating" at high speeds and just hasn't been hugging the corners and lanes on the highway as well as it used too. I have to believe that it is the suspension that needs replacement. With that said:

1. What exactly do I need to purchase to fully replace my current factory installed suspension on this vehicle?

2. Can you recommend a particular web site that offers the necessary replacement parts for a successful install?

3. Is there a certain brand that I should consider?

4. Does it make sense to lower a TT perhaps 1.1"? Or will it cause more harm than good?

5. Is there one complete kit that I can purchase?

Unfortunately, I need to do this at as low of a cost as possible.

I appreciate any advice in this area as I need to seriously consider replacing it soon since it is making all kinds of noises (and they're driving me crazy!).

Thanks in advance for your experienced advice...

Take care,

Garrett
