Default A6 FTW?

Im looking at getting a 2000 ish A6 Avant, and wondered if anyone on here had any experience with them? Primarily the value at about 10K$ is the main reason for it, and because I think it would be sweet all tricked up.

Any comments, or things to watch out for?

Hey man
With the A6, what is the mileage? Just keep in mind that the Timing belt is due around 70k (the owners manual may quote a bit more) Also, check out the front end suspension. The upper control arms very often have bad bushings or joints. Check the normal inspection items - A6's often kill brake hoses and brakes. Nothing big.
See if you can get it off the ground and check for oil leaks. Anything small is not a worry but obviously a gushing leak should be a reason to go away.

Other than that, go for it man. They are pretty cool cars and look great with tint, lowered, and on some bigger wheels.

Wow, back from the dead.

Thanks for the Advice, but in the interim I inherited a 97 Suburban 4x4 from my Grandfather, so I don't need another car.
