Default Haldex Not Working?

A few times in the past couple days I have spun my FRONT tires through most of first gear (and a couple times in 2nd, which I'm pretty proud of for being mostly stock), now as all of you know my car is Quattro so that's definitely not supposed to happen. Any ideas of what it could be? Here is what I have found...

-During tight turns at low speeds it makes a clicking noise, which I have heard could be symptomatic of bad haldex oil, which I doubt the previous owner ever changed and it was supposed to be done 18k ago)
-Only happens when the car is cold
-Traction Control/ABS lights some on sometimes, Chris scanned it the other day and there were no codes

I just picked up a tube of Haldex oil and a filter at the dealer (75 frickin dollars) and I'm going to change that Friday and hopefully that fixes it, the service manager at the dealer said it might.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks much.

I think you are on the right track, or atleast the cheapest track for troubleshooting the problem. How hard is it to change out the oil on the TT?

I think I need a "special" wrench that goes for like $65 from EIP. I posted on audiworld asking if anyone around here has one. If you have it it's supposed to be pretty easy. Otherwise KTR's getting a call soon.

The service manager at the dealer said if it was a bad rear diff then when I turn the wheel woud skip all over the place because the haldex system would have no idea what to do so it would basically just go crazy. I also noticed it only does it on cold starts, so I'm thinking the haldex oil is a good place to start because that's one of the only things that would change with temperature.

if you spin your tires often/ beat your car often things break, point.. don't beat your car as much as you probably do its an audi with quattro and eventually something is gonna break cars aren't built to be invincible, lesson learned rail on your car often and get bent over and railed when it breaks and you see the bill to fix it, hope everything goes well for you, definitely let us know if the oil does it.
