RS4 in the states?

Saw an RS4 in Portsmouth last night while standing around with qwikkihf - I didn't think the RS4 existed over here. Do these have the 4.2 biturbo? The body styling looked awesome.

Yeah I will see one every now and again Jon remember that yellow RS6 (or was it an 8 regardless) we saw at the gas station at dub on the lake...now that was to dream for! :ROOLS::

The Audi S4, the RS4 just like its predecessor, the RS2, is available only in Avant form. The biturbo 2.7-litre V6 is similar to the one found in the S4 but with 130 and 67 more horsepower and lb-ft of torque, respectively. To 62mph (100 kmph) the RS4 is 0.5 seconds faster than the RS2, and reaches 125 mph (200kmph) in only 17.0 seconds.

About 2 weeks ago I saw one of the most amazing sightings I think I will ever see. I was driving on Macaurther rd. and saw an E46 M3 racing an RS6. Not really a close match-up but it was nice seeing and hearing them go at it. I only wish I had my car at the time. I would have tried to get in on the action.

The RS6 had to have owned that guy! The RS6es are owning everything on the autocross circuit right now...heh heh heh.

Couldn't tell, we were a few cars back. All I heard was German grunt and I looked up and saw 2 cars swearving back and fourth. When they got stopped at the light we caught up and I was all like "hot damn" my friend...(who is oblivious to the whole car scene) says "what kind of cars are they" I say "RS6 and E46 M3" He goes "ok" I go " They are not very slow cars".

I don't think it was a RS4, mainly because it was a B6. the RS4s were only produced on B5 platform I think. although there was a rumor or something about them returning AND being brought to the US.

I had no way of telling, I've only seen the RS4 hatches - never a sedan.

Going up to a York GTG, i saw a brand new Blue RS4 with temp tags and man was that thing sweet!!

Correct, only wagons. Although there are alot of people driving around with RS4 bumpers and grills on there A4/S4.
