Default TT Roadster 180hp FWD mod 2001 - Dash Board

my dash board is down. it's on only when there's heat to it. during sunshine it works perfectly with temperatures around 30 degrees. at night, it's all off with all the lighting of ESP, seat heating lights, flasher, etc...

can this be fixed?

Q#2: is it possible to replace my Turbo with the 225hp and add the 2nd intercooler? would that be a mess?

The Cluster is a problem with TT's. Esp with the 2001 models. I have a 2001 225 and my cluster is starting to quit on me once and awhile. I'm going to have them replace it before my CPO warrenty is up. I do not think that these are extended under any warrenty so be ready to pay lots of $$ for it. I would suggest looking on ebay for a replacement but I've also heard a lot of people having problems with them once installed and then the dealer charges them out of the A$$ to have them fix it.

For your second question. You can add the K04 turbo to your car but i would suggest just getting a bigger/better turbo and a front mounted IC then trying to deal with the dual IC that the 225 has.

I don't think it's the cluster because he's having problems with the seat heater lights as well...

As far as the turbo goes, I agree, there would be a lot of extra work. Unless you find a totalled TT225 don't bother. ..I'd go with another turbo.

Ah, missed that part. Not sure what it could be. I would say a short or bad fuse but the temp shouldn't affect it...
