Default VAG COM question....more technical i guess.

i was looking at the different data blocks today on my 96 a4 2.8. does anyone have a list of what blocks are what for this year? i was looking to watch the injectors and maybe the ignition on each cyl. any one with any info would be a help.

i pretty much ohmed out the coil and got about 10.9 k ohms for each which is a good spec. and i also ohmed out each injector to about 14.2 ohms. this was all engine cold and not running obviously. i have a misfire under a heavy load and im trying to narrow it down with no luck. it already has new wires and new plugs. i even tried swapping a MAF off another car as well.

sooo....what you think?

I use a vag 1552 and it will tell you which cylinder has the misfire. Will code random multiple misfire and what clyinders are misfiring. On a 1996 2.8 audi A4 I would bet you have at least 2 faulty fuel injectors. I say this because you have replaced the ignition wires spark plugs and have no vacumn leaks. Paul

i had the ross tech version of vag on it and it has no codes. no nothing. like i said, i graphed it on some different data blocks and nothing droped down when it was missing.
