will s4 stock suspension work on a4 avant, mine is quattro, the only difference should be weight cause my avant obviously has the wagon rear and s4 has coupe rear but suspension componentry should be the same??? i want a cheap susp. upgrade for my stock a4 avant and i figured the spring rates for the s4 would be higher and the springs may lower my car a bit. any info if this will work would be appreciated thanks!!!

No point in doing it... fronts will work, not sure about the rear...

Pick up some factory sport suspension if you want to be a lil lower for very little money...

the guy claims the susp. is out of a 2001 s4 avant, and since mines a 99.5 avant with quattro i'm hoping everything will work.

bidding on ebay, shipping is $70, bid is at $9.99, i really thought this would be a good factory upgrade, i mean the s4 has to have a stiffer spring rate than mine, and it might not make it sit lower but i was figuring on cutting the springs a little bit. sounds crazy yes i know but i'm just interested in a cheap suspension upgrade and i can't find a set of sport springs off an audi a4 avant for the life of me going for this cheap.

i just got outbid, and i decided not to bid again, i trust your judgement when it comes to audi parts.... looks like i'll continue my search for a cheap suspension upgrade, if you know anyone who may have some parts to offer let me know.

They fit on both ends. You'd be looking at maybe 20mm lower at most.
