It looks a boat-load better than the nastly Golf with the larger greenhouses. Josh posted one on here awhile back I think.

u know what gets me? the mk5 golf aint even here in the usa yet but they are already looking at a new one. what the hell. i am not a fan of teh mk5 to start but damn give a chance to breath in the new one before you jump in with yet another. i think VW needs to consider going for a smaller car. back in germany there were lots of peeps rolling in a lupo or polo. bring the polo here with a 1.8t option and that car would be killer. the mk5 jetta is a sad car to look at so i figure instead of going wider and longer... give us something smaller and more fun to toss around. thats me though. i need to work for VW and get this shit fixxed.

nobody would buy a small car...........i agree with your idea of bringing over small cars.......fuel efficiency and what not..........ability to maneuver easier in city traffic........but america would never buy into that.........you will only ever see that small efficient stuff over in europe..........they pay an assload of money per gallon..like 4 bucks or more............american mentality is bigger better............my boss was looking at buying a touareg..but its too small...........see that..........as far as that new turd picof the golf at the top of the page..........no way....i dont like it......i like things with lines.........i love mk3's........mk4 is ok......i like the interior.........that mk5 that hasnt even come over yet.......not too keen onit but i felt the same way about the mk4'swhen they came out.......honestly.........come up with a design and keep it for a while.........hope that thing remains a concept........turd

SUV's are the enemy. i hate it when a family of 2 buy an SUV. what the hell do they need to haul around that they need something that size. small cars do have their place though. toyota proved it with their scion line up. ugly as hell but tey made a killing cause it was affordable and small. i honestly believe VW should bring the polo here and simply use a motor that is already in production to cut cost. the 1.8t in a polo would be a great contender if i may say.
