Default Just Got My New Rods!!!

I am pretty excited, I just got my new Pauter Rods today! They are a C set made of E4340 Chromoly steel with aluminum bronze wrist pin bushings. All of the rods are also direct pressure feed pin oiled (rifle drilled). They are good for 900hp and 9700RPM! I will be taking them to a local machine shop to make sure of the balancing and weight but from what I heard they are always DEAD ON. Sorry for the long post, I am just very excited cause these were the rods I always wanted to build off of but couldn't afford and I got them for a good price. Here are some pics:

The full set

Notched for only the best oiling characteristics:

ARP Rod Bolts 220K psi

Now I am just waiting on this Rob guy to get back off vacation 'cause he has the fresh 2.9L O-ringed block for EIP. Then hopefully they will assemble it RIGHT this time and I will have pretty much a indestructable bottom end. Man, is that a comforting thought . Thanks guys.

So far it seems like they are holding up to there end of the warranty issue. No help on the rods. That was my choice. They wanted to replace the current rods with stock ones. So I figured I would go all out and make sure that I have rods that are up to the job. I must thank my friend Dave from Maryland who is good friends with the guys at EIP. He has been the one doing all the talking and legwork making it the warranty issue a little easier to swallow for them.

But for now, I am just waiting on Rob to get back off vacation so he can get the fresh 2.9L O-ringed block to EIP and it should be ready to rock. I will keep you all posted on how it all plays out
