Well it's offical, I'm moving to Colorado in a few weeks. Just got the job offer last week and my last day at work is Feb 8th. The girl is flying out that night then we are taking a little road trip in the TT out west with a stop in chicago.
I'm prob not going to have the TT much longer but i'll still be coming around every once and awhile.
Anyways. thought I'd share the news!

I heard great things about CO, my girlfriend is trying to convince me to move to Denver or Ft. Collins.
I was talking to a guy from APR last year, he said when he lived in CO there were more TT's out there than he had ever seen. None like his though, the red APR Stg. 3+ one with BBS CH's.
Gonna go be some liberal greenie mile high granola hippie huh? Tsk tsk.
I might be hanging out with them, but I won't become one of them
Brett: I've spent lots of time out there over the past two years and it's def a fun place to be. The apartment we are getting is a 2 bed 2 bath with gas fireplace and 1100sq built three years ago and it's over $100 cheaper then my crappy 580sq apartment here in DC.

My Brother in law lives in Denver, he likes it quite a bit. He's an adrenaline junky, so if you ever need a hook up with dirt bikes, motox, street bikes, or sky diving, let me know.
What job did ya get, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm not that big of an adrenaline junky but would love to try all of those things!
I'm working as a Sarbanes Project Lead. In short I'm at a senior level in their internal controls group which will be working with the sarbanes oxley controls half the time and special corporate projects the other half.

I've heard from my brother(he goes out there snowboarding alot)that its really nice there...too much snow and cold for me to handle though. Good luck with the move!
Congrats Jon...whereabouts in CO will you be? I might be out there again sometime over the next few weeks for work.
It's a gorgeous state, lots to see and do....even for non-hippies.

We are living just south of Denver in a town called
Castle Rock. Kass works in the north part of Colorado Springs and I'll be working in south denver in a area called "Denver Tech Center, DTC).

Nice, Castle Rock is a cool place, although the actual "Castle Rock" is unimpressive.
We will be doing a network upgrade between Colorado Springs and Denver I think.
I'll give you a ring, when I find out the details...I am not sure if I will even be assigned to that particular project yet, all depends on how work goes in New Mexico.
