Hi, I am another new member, from Atlanta, GA. It's nice to meet all of you. I have been a car enthusiast for a long time. Most of my experience has been with Japanese cars. You can see some of them on my personal site (see my signature). When I was younger, I worked for Turbo Toms, and we built several nice turbocharged VWs there.

Welcome to VWForum!

I haven't been to China since 95, from your pics it doesn't look like things have changed much. It looks like you've been to many of the Great Wall sites. I've been to a few, have you been to Xian? They have a wall that encompasses the whole original city. It's also near the Terracotta Warriors where the first emperor is supposedly buried.

Hi Chad,

I haven't been to Xian but I would like to go. I have seen pictures of those city walls and of course the terracotta warriors. But I really like climbing and trekking the Great Wall. I have plans to go back there this year and I will have about 30 days to explore more parts of the Great Wall in the Beijing area.

Cheers

Did that Datsun make it to Washington under a new owner in the last couple years?

That would probably be Tod Kaneko's cars. Both of them are extremely nice.
