Default New member intro

New to the site, just wanted to say hello.

We picked up a 07 GLI Farenhiet and that also makes us new to VW. Well, my parents had one in the late 60's but that really doesn't count.

Did you hopefully get the 6 speed? Or are you just backing VW in their quest to make all their cars DSG in the future? :P

i think the fahrenheit came with dsg only. could be wrong on that. very sexy car either way. want one myself but dont want the 30k monthly car payment. and having a vw in the 60s does count. remember that noob.

The Fahrenheit GLI's came in 6spd and DSG...the GTI only came in DSG. I think that's a stupid way for them to do it, but I don't get a say, so it doesnt matter lol.

Congrats on your new car!
