Default Not a happy camper right now...

I really wonder what goes through people's heads sometimes...really.

Two days ago, either parked in the lot at school or at work (I'm leaning towards school though) someone thought that taking a razor blade to the deck lid of the Golf would be a good idea. So, now I have a scratch on both the right and left (actually there are 2 on this side cause apparently the first scratch wasn't good enough ) side of my trunk. It doesn't go all the way across, but thats not the point. And all less than 2 weeks before Show N' Go, in which I was planning on showing my car! I just can't win it would seem. My dad tells me that the only way to fix it is to take it to the body shop and get the trunk repainted. Ugh! So, I guess it's not getting fixed before Show N' Go. Oh well, guess I'll show it anyway. But needless to say, I'm pissed. Why can't people leave their hands to theirselves?!

Well, that's my rant. Sorry, but I had to get it out. Thanks for reading all...

Some guy decided my car was too nice at H20 and put 4 dents in the hood...right after I paid Dent Wizard to remove the previous huge dent that was there....you can never win, trust me.

It's jealously. I've had many vandless f' with my dubs. Everything from tabacco chew spit on the hood of my Beetle to a full can or orange soda dumped on my A2's Recaro's. I feel your pain!

Default grrrrrrrrrr

That stinks, GolfGirl03. I do feel your pain though. When I was in school, I was the only student there with a new car. It didn't take long before some jealous bastard decided to take a key to my door.
How bad are the scratches(ie:how long? down to the metal?)? You might be able to carefully touch them up and blend them with some non-abrasive polishing compound. It won't be perfect, but its a nice temporary fix.

That sucks! I feel your pain; I swear my prelude must have been keyed at least twice while I was going to high school ( and it was an 89!!!) Oh well; just think how messed up their life must be to take pleasure in damaging other's goods and you'll feel a little better...

Yes, if it's not all the way to the metal, and the scratches are thin (since it was done w/ a razor blade), you can have them buffed out...take the car to a place that does detailing and ask them if buffing will fill the scratches back in.

The scratches aren't to the metal, thank god, and they are about 2 inches long. But the one side is worse than the other. My dad's gonna take it to work with him one day and get the body shop to fix it. It just sucks that someone can find amusement in defacing other people's things.

I wish I could park away from the morons at school, but it's not possible. At work, I park on an angle at the back of the parking lot with other employees who have there "done up" cars so no one can park anywhere near us if they tried lol.

Its just the point of it all. Just cause your jealous, or wish you could have what I have (and my car is not THAT great, its getting there, but come on...not that that makes it right at all), doesn't mean you go and take a razor blade to the trunk! Ugh! I hate people!

Anyway, I just can never win..everything is against me. From my angel eyes never comin' in and having to get different headlights (which I just got today! woohoo! hehe And I'm actually glad that I changed my mind...) to this..bah. Oh well...the car WILL be shown at Show N' Go anyway, so everyone come stop by and check it out. Its on a good road and I can't wait to see what it's gonna look like as I continue doin' stuff to it

OK, I'm done rambling...sorry so long guys! And thanks for listening to my rants! Byes!

Stop whinning! Geez. I'm kinda sad you finally have your new headlights. I can't "_?" anymore. As far as the scratch, is it superficial enough that you can use one of those tinted waxes to cover up the damage for Show n Go?
