Default VWFORUM.com Enters into Autoforums.com Network

Dear VWF Members,

I am pleased to announce a new partnership for VWFORUM.com, (VWF). As of March 17, 2008, VWF has entered into the AutoForums.com network.

When I started this web site back in 2002 I never thought it would grow into a 15,000+ member community or have a huge impact within euro shows. Not only have I and probably most of you found a great place to talk VWs, but a place where friends for life have been made. The time has come to provide the members even a better place to gain information about your VW. I have been more removed from the site and have not been able to make updates promptly to be able to make the site to grow. I strongly believe by entering into the AutoForums.com networks will only make us stronger. Not just from a software and hardware infrastructure standpoint but from a knowledge gain across the automotive spectrum.

About AutoForums.com
AutoForums.com encompasses category-leading web sites, and online communities, catering to automotive enthusiasts whose passion for their rides is a cornerstone of their lives.

AutoForums.com reflects a unique combination of the industries most sought after and influential automotive communities. Joining instantly recognizable communities such as BenzWorld.org, ToyotaNation.com and TheDieselStop.com are prominent communities including SRTforums.com, Z06Vette.com, FJCruiserForums.com, and dozens of others. AutoForums sports the most active and popular discussions available today.

VerticalScope previously owned three trend setting magazines, including Modified Mag, Modified Luxury & Exotics, and Modified Mustangs, which were the fastest growing automotive titles in the marketplace. We were enthusiasts who ran the magazines for our fellow enthusiasts - we attended well in excess of 100 automotive events a year and provided the most relevant, fresh, and informative editorial coverage available anywhere.

With millions of registered members, AutoForums host active discussions on everything from new vehicle shopping, aftermarket parts, auto insurance, car audio, and much more. AutoForums.com continues to provide the most relevant, useful information available to true enthusiasts. With our massive network now targeted to all individual models and corporate brands alike, our reach is even more striking to the enthusiast community worldwide.

Some Q&A
Will my login change?

No, this upgrade will keep all your post counts and login the same.

Will the site look & feel change?
Yes. The site will remain close to its roots as a "forum" but will be much more enriched with other related VW content

Will the Moderators remain the same?
Yes. We have every intention to keep the moderators the same if not improve and add more moderators

db will you still be involved?
Yes. I will continue to be your #1 & moderate.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the great years and I look forward to continuing on VWF's legacy,
Dave Snyder (db)
VWF Founder

No, apparently the switch over to the new software/layout will be happening any day now.
