The new trend of thread locking is kind of odd to me, and thats the reason for some of the ridiculous posts latley, just to make fun of it and see how long before they get locked. I always liked posting here cuz people werent petty like they are on vortex, and if you keep locking peoples posts there going to keep making posts even more ridiculous than the last,and if you ban them they will make a new handle and do it even more, and if you ban their IP they will find a new forum like vwwhoretex that was made because this same thing happened on vortex. This is an online community, unless someone is personally threatening someone to an extent that is scary i dont think that arguements should be locked, especially in the extras. I mean who the hell do u think you are to say what is extra...if someone makes a stupid post they get stupid responses, and if people didnt want to respond they wouldnt...o well thats my 2 cents. And i think it is obsurd that the post about this was locked so no one could give their input and apparentley other moderators didnt know...so go ahead and lock this too i guess.

Kind of kills the free speach issue. It seems like we need a moderator for the modorators

I think ALL of us need to take it easy for a bit and let Dave resolve this, to be quite honest. I don't know how this got out of hand, but I don't want VWF to turn into Vortex either.

I agree with both of you but you'll both have to admit that the pointless posts have been growing in numbers lately. Shit, they're not even funny most of the time.

This is something that is being addressed by the moderators as I post this. I'm not saying that we are going to have a fix for it tomorrow so I'm asking everyone to be patient and have some a little perspective here. The only difference between moderators and other members is that we've been around longer. We understand that that there is a free speech issue and we're working on setting guidelines on how to deal with this type of stuff uniformly.

Lets not forget that we're on all the same boat here.

And Ceazar, member to member, you should be one of the last people to play the freedom of speech card with all the wonderful bullshit that I've enjoyed you post.

Did I hurt your feelings? Don't take this up with Davie. I'm the one egging you on. HAHA, damn kids love to dish it out but can't take it. I know my role around here and its 99% entertainment and to bust on people. We can all use the copy and paste keys when it comes to posting information.
