2.0 turbo, What is the best type of oil or synthetic? I keep hearing Mobile One? any suggestions?

Oil should be full synthetic and meet VW spec 502.00. Mobil 1 0W40 meets this spec. Here are a few more options.

Castrol Syntec 5W40
Pennzoil Platinum European Formula Ultra 5W30
Quaker State Q European Engine Ultra 5W30
Kendall GT-1 Full Synthetic 5W40
Motul Motul 8100 X-cess 5W40
Pentosin Pento High Performance 5W40
Seventy-Six Lubricants 76 Pure Synthetic Motor Oil 5W40
Elf Excellium NF 5W40
Motul Motul Specific 505 01 502 00 505 01 5W40
Total Quartz Ineo MC3 5W30

There may be a few more out there that I did not list, but these oils all meet VW's 502.00 specifications.
