Default 2.5L Air Filter Change

Does anyone know how to get the top plastic housing off on at 2005.5 Jetta with the 2.5L engine? So far, I've learned that the air filter itself is located underneath this cover - but I can't figure out how to remove it, and I'm afraid if I just go pulling on it something will snap... can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Jim
