2005 Jetta Sunroof
My daughter's 2005 Jetta sunroof developed a mind of its own. I wasn't convinced there was a problem till I had to drive the car a few days last week.
I parked the car with the sunroof closed and the next morning it was cracked up. When I tried to close it it tried to close, but then immediately popped up again. Later that day I managed to get it to close and stay closed. However, it just decides to open or close at will.
Should I be looking at the switch, or could it be a sensor that is causing this. Should I attempt a switch change myself or take it to a dealer? Is it straight forward. I'm good with vehicles- I've restored many British cars (MG's, Jags, Healeys) but these were pre-computerized processor controlled cars.
