Cool 2009 jetta se questions

ok, I just got me a new toy, and I was wondering a few things:

there's a S after D, and the book says something about Sport, but I have no idea how it works

I installed the ipod adapter, actually, just the cable, but it works, but if I want to use the SAT I have to remove the Ipod, and since its hidden in the glove compartment since I can't put the cable out and close the door, well, you get the picture, how can I get around that problem? and is there a way to shuffle the songs inside a playlist? cuz it kinda sucks

Yes, the "S" is sport mode. This changes makes the automatic shift points a little more aggressive. There is a seperate iPod kit for cars with satellite radio. It plugs into the satellite receiver in the back and the cables must be run up along the floorboard. This kit allows seamless use of both the iPod and satellite radio. In addition, it adds more features that the earlier adapter does not have.

"Access up to 250 playlists. Capable of playing every track on your iPodTM. Easily transitions between playlists. Artist name is visually displayed up to 16 characters on radio interface. Song name, also up to 16 characters, appears on radio. Playlist name is also shown, up to 8 characters. Random play, or shuffle, all songs on your iPodTM. Scan feature allows you to play the first few seconds of each track."

Hope this helps.
