Default Advise regarding 2009 jetta se...

Hello, Just wanted to introduce myself as a newbie. My wife and I are looking at a 2009 Jetta SE and I was hoping that we could get some good honest information here. We are a family of 4 with two sons, one is 7 and the other is 1. We had looked into a Jetta TDI years ago and loved the car, but didn't have the time to wait for it to be delivered to the USA, so we went with something else. One of my biggest concerns is do you (those that own one) think that this is a large enough car for my family? We went a sat in one at the dealer, but we all know that real world experiences are much better. Also, are there any significant issues that I should be aware of with this year and model? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
ripsnort

I'm not exactly the best with MK5s, but I got to drive/sit in a mk5 jetta and they are rather spacious for being a sedan. Perhaps a golf/rabbit hatchback would provide you more space for your family

Hey thanks Mike...
I forgot to mention that it is the sportwagen, so I think that you are right as for the room. Thanks for the input.
