Dial inside glove box does what
My jetta 08 has a little dial inside the glove box (on the roof of the box when it's open). On its rim, the dial has a mirror sign and a snowflake/crystal sign, they are about an inch apart, and there is a line/arrow connecting the two signs. I can rotate it just about a quarter (maybe 1/3) of a full turn.
Is it for adjusting the temperature inside the glove compartment? Or does it have something to do with the mirrors?
I googled it and came across references to "refrigerated glove box" but nothing that specifically addresses the dial; I contacted the dealership but they didn't know either.
