Default Does Volkswagen in the US also sell the NA diesels?

Hello,

First of all, this is my first post on the VeeDub forum! I'm really exited about it, because now I know there also more Volkswagen-fans all around the world!

Allright then, does VW sell diesels for the Golf / Rabbit in the US? In Europe you've got the 1,9 Turbodiesel (TDi) (with 90 or 105 bhp) with injectors, the common-rail 2,0 TDi (with 140 or 170 bhp (last called the GT Sport), and you've got the NA 2,0 SDi (also with injectors, with only 75 bhp).

Last question about the petrol versions. Do you guys got also a 1.4 TSi (Twincharger = turbo and a supercharger) with 122, 140 or 170 bhp? That car is serious quick for it's 1.4 liter engine!

Greets from The Netherlands!

(PS; when comes the Mk6 Golf / Rabbit? The new 211bhp GTI is very nice, but the all new Golf R is even nicer!!)

@kodalma84,

thanks! Awesome.. the 2.5 5 cylinder we haven't in Europe Well, we have got this engine in the TT-RS. The diesel is a nice car, but here in Europe we've got also a 2.0 GTD (diesel version of the GTI, as you probably knows) with 170bhp.

The 2.5 5 cylinder is a Porsche motor from my understanding...I'm sure you guys have it in some form over there

The only car from the VAG Group in Holland with a 2,5 L5 engine, is the 2010 TT-RS (with2 turbochargers on it) As a sort of successor of the Ur-Quattro.

We have no TSI Scirocco either. VW does not want it to impact GTI sales from what I have read.
