Default HELP!... vomit in my car...

Guys, I need help...

So last night I went to this party with a friend... it was an open bar, and he had a bit too much to drink - more than twice as much as me.

Anyways... on the way home we came to a stop light and he tried to puke out the window but didn't quite make it... there was vomit all down the outside of my car and down the inside of my door... and there's vomit down inside the window where I cannot get it out!!

Is it even worth trying to take the door panel off myself so I can clean inside there (in the window track area), and how do I get the panel off, or should I take it somewhere? And where should I take it? A car audio place? Straight to VW?

Also, does anyone have any ideas for how to get vomit out of upholstery? He somehow even got it on the pillar next to the windshield that has the side airbags. He drank cranberry juice and red wine, so I have a feeling it's just not coming out but if anyone has any ideas...

Man that sucks ! I dont think even if you get the stain out it will still stink (smell horrible). I would first take the car to a vw dealer and have it detailed .

Next time you DD take his car! I would definitely take it to the dealer then to a professional detailer.

Your best bet is to get a detailer involved. A steamer will get most of the dirt and odor producing crap out, but the red wine stain might be pretty tough. On the door panel, I'd try just some heavy cleaner solvent like Simple Green. Don't use it straight, dilute it with some water in a spray bottle. The outside, i'd just hose it off.

Ouch. Fortunately the only time anyone ever had to puke when they were in my car he gave me enough warning to stop so he could do it on the side of the road.

Make him pay :P I would say rent a carpet cleaner and clean it, then scrub it really well. For the outside just wash/wax the car.

Default Try some wine away

You can get it at BevMo..... takes any red stain out, has a pleasant scent, it does not involve any solvents or anything harmful.

In this case with the puke inside the door - I'd call around a see if any detailers would be willing to take the panal off and clean, some may. The good ones will have a steamer and ozone generator (kills oders) and the right chemicals to get it taken care of. Be sure your buddy gets the bill!
