Default noobie questions

Hey guys, in the process of looking into purchasing a 09 Jetta. Looking into the most basic model, I test drove one earlier today and loved the feel. It was a lot better then test driving a Mazda6 or Ford v6 Stang.

I did have a few questions though, for it's prize range I was curious too see how come it had so many basic features compared to it's competitors. So it had me wondering, since I was looking into a 03-04 Audi A4 as well, on the maintenance. Is there any known maintenance issues I should be aware of w/ these 09 Jetta models; like the A4's are known to have?

Also, does anyone know what wheels these are in this link? It is probably the coolest rims I have seen so far for the Jetta. If it's an older OEM one I apologize, I have been a Japanese import guy for a long time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well man, whats your price range.
The gli in that pic and I saw those rims on a mk4 a couple weeks ago I am curious my self.
But imho vw puts out some of the most well built cars out there and I would recommend a new gli the cars are amazing.
At the moment I do not think that they have any issues right now the gas mileage isnt quite there but its a strong, quick, sexy, sleak car and if you get it you should be happy with it
plus the vw people I have worked with at the dealerships are all nice people and should hook you up.

Well new GLi's is out of my range in price, and as far as used ones, I've looked everywhere w/in 100 miles and even if I did find one they were still around 16-17k for a medium mileage one.

That is why I am just leaning toward a new one which i can get for 18k, because either way I will be getting rims/suspension that fits my taste. At least this way, I'll be the first owner.

But ya I've been trying to hunt down the name of those rims for two days now, those are the nicest rims I've seen on a jetta yet.
