Default Problem (?) with LED Tail Light

Hi,

I'm driving a 2005.05 Jetta.
Did anyone of you get the euro LED taillights for it? I got them some months ago and did the changes, described in following DYIs
http://www.benricci.com/files/gli_led_amber.pdf
and
http://homepage.mac.com/cvervais/gli/gli_rear_fog.pdf

Two weeks ago my brother was driving my car and I saw, when you hit the break the amber flashlights are shining up, too. Is this normal? Because I don't want them to shine when I hit the break.

Thanks for help!

if your brake lights light up amberish red, its because you didnt' vag com them yet. so instead of just the red coming up. the yellow/amber comes up with the red. you have to vag com code them to make that when you brake only red come sup and only amber comes up when you turn.'

right now your brake light and your signal light are the same "color" as in both are amber+red

Thanks for the answer.
I vag com them, at least I think so So if I would have it done like it is described in the DYIs it would work like it should? Or do I have to change something else?
