What a week its been. Jay has just informed me that the engine donated by "Your Auto Source Inc." is ready to breathe new life into "Adolf" & the 2005 racing season for VWF Racing. A lot has transpired to make this all possible. First of all, hats off to Corey @ "Your Auto Source" in York, PA for the Mk2 1.8ltr engine AND db for making this all happen. You'll be reading more about Your Auto Source in the weeks to come!
Mike & Jay Garris were the ones who actually had to get thier hands dirty. While Jay drove down to York to pick up the engine, Mike was busy pulling the old engine out of the Jetta. Both Jay & Mike had the engine installed & running almost within 24hrs of recieving it!
All of us are eager to see the Jetta racing & winning again and this coming Saturday night @ MVS is the time for it. Its time for drivers of those Fords, Hondas, and Toyotas to remember what the back end of a Mk2 Jetta Coupe really looks like.

......but I'm headed strait to the track afterwards. I'm dying to hear what the new motor sounds like and I want to get there early enough to catch Mike in some practice laps. This is gonna be gooooooood!!!
