#44 Garris - VWForum .:Racing dominates Again!!!
That's right....race #2.....1st place WIN #2!!! The exact details are still a bit sketchy to me, since I found myself caught up in the excitement. But Mike Garris absolutely dominated this one. 23 cars started in the 75 lap small car enduro. Traffic was heavy and the car has the battlescars to prove it. He started in about 13th position. He immediately went into 6th off the start. Mike weaved his way into 2nd well before the middle of the race. It didn't take long before the #44 car was in first and rapidly lapping traffic. It was easy to see that the VWF car was the fastest in the field and no one could hold the inside line with him. A big CONGRATS to the Garris family!! We can't wait to come out to Mahoning Valley again!!

Congrats!!! I was with db when he got the phone call with the great news!!! and we all were in shock when we heard that he put everyone a lap down or even more by the end. So when's the next race?

That race was the best race of the night. Mike was the only car on the lead lap. I'm deffinetly going to the next one again. The next race is May 29th. They are also going to have fireworks at this one as well. After the race we got to go in the pits for free to see the race car. It was pretty messed up but still ran like a champ. The whole Garris crew is really cool. Great team they got there.

That is awsome! Congrats to Jay, Mike, and the whole team once again! Sounds like it was a lot of fun, wish I could have been there.
