Race #6 (8/28) ~ Adolf's Revenge ~

With only about 3 races left in the season, Mike Garris & VWF .:Racing team are currently in 4th place in the point standings. Some mid-season set-backs have not hindered the drive & spirit of this team. Everytime Garris hits the track, its clear to see he's driving to win.

Race #6 in Mahoning Valley Speedway's Enduro series is schedualled for Sat. Aug. 28th. It's still unknown if MVS will hold qualifying heats again for the Enduro class(#44 dominated the qualifier in race#5). What is well known is that our beloved lil' blue Jetta is the fastest car on the tarmac. Let's all hope for an incident & gremlin-free run to see Garris/#44 in the winner's circle again!!

We will be there! My dad and I just made a deal that if I go to one of his events (most likely a midget and/or dirt track race), then he goes to one of my (our) "volkswagen" shows/races. Let's hope for good weather and healthy cars and drivers! Go #44!

6 days `till race #6!! I don't know about you, but the week prior to a race always seem so looooooong to me. Let's hope for good weather and a clean run for Team VWF!!

Jay, It looks like I won't be able to get up to Slatington in time to drive to the track with you guys. I hope to be in the stands by 5:30pm though. Lemme know if there are any last minute parts needed. Good luck guys!!
