Team VWF Takes home 1st!!!

Special BIG congrats to the VWF Racing team on bringing home 1st place in today's 100 lap Enduro race at MV Speedway. Today was all enduro's meaning everything from 4 cylinders to 8 cyclinders from the 2 DR Jetta to Mustangs. Mike Garris and the number #44 Jetta jumped out to a early lead in the 3 position right from lap one. By lap 60(ish) he moved into 2nd and only had one car in front of him. He moved into 1st with 20 laps to go. Mike fell back into second with less than 15. Caution came and Mike was able to tighten the gap. Green came and within 11 laps to go we took over the the first spot and held it to the end.

Josh, Patty, Bill Jon & myself were onsight to help cheer on the victory. It was a very exicting and happy day for the VWFORUM.com & the Garris Family. We were all impressed with Mike's agressive driving and smart thinking threw some tough situations.

for some reason whenever you give me directions on the phone something bad always happens..... but the screw has been removed from the passenger front and the hole was plugged..... its all better now, and i had a nice long ride today

Today was absolutely terrific! I had a great time with everyone today. Congrats to Mike, Jay, and the rest of the crew....you guys did a great job on this car. Even during practice, I think all of us sensed something good was gonna happen. I can't wait for another chance to come out and cheer on VWF .:Racing.

I got there late had about 30 laps to go, but didnt miss the most important part, next race is on the 1st of may, not too far away

Congrats again to Mike, Jay, and the whole team; it was an amazing race, and a well deserved win for Mike. He had us on our feet, cheering the whole 100 laps!

Congratulations on winning the race guys. First race, first win, way to pop that cherry! Beating all those other "super" cars sure bodes well for the VWF machine. Once late spring/summer rolls around, I'll have the free time to head up north and check out a race or two. Best of luck with the future races! By the way db, thanks for the dramatic play by play :P.
