It had what looked like porsche wheels but I think they were from VW. The low down is it's one of the first to hit US shores and is owned by the dealer in MD. Kind of nice but i like y MK4 better. Can't wait tosee the GTI though

are you sure it wasnt turbo? I heard that the turbo is integrated into the manifold now. and it was a 6 speed, not auto.

you are absolutely correct. on the new 2.0T, the turbo and manifold are one unit.

AFAIK. i havent seen under the hood of any 2.0T golfs nor A4s, but i would assume so
