Nice pics!
It was nice but week at the same time. It had a 16v FSI motor no turbo. Plus it was automatic
It had what looked like porsche wheels but I think they were from VW. The low down is it's one of the first to hit US shores and is owned by the dealer in MD. Kind of nice but i like y MK4 better. Can't wait tosee the GTI though
are you sure it wasnt turbo? I heard that the turbo is integrated into the manifold now. and it was a 6 speed, not auto.

Now that I remember it was a stick. But if it was turbo I doubt it I looked in the enginbay no turbo no intercooler piping nada. :P

now that i look at the engine cover compared with the 2.0T engine, it is most definitely not the 2.0T.

and you said no intercooler piping or anyhting, so it cant be a TDI. i guess it is a n/a 2.0.

i dunno caez, this is a stumper. perhaps the all-knowing jfry will know what it is...

Not sure but I thinks all the new VW motors are FSI's Just diferent variations. Like the jetta has a 2.5 FSI 5 cylinder. but Not sure what they are going to put in the golf.db said he talked to the guy and it was an actual early US version that is slated to apear.
