Default 89 BMW E30 race project

My friend's brother is apparently made of money these days and wants to start racing. My friend volunteered us to work on the car (free of charge) while he pays for everything. He chose the 89-91 BMW 325i series races.

We got one shipped in from Virginia a few days ago. No rust, decent shape.

I snapped some cell pics last night.

As you can see the gutting process has already began. Roll cage is going in this weekend. Fun learning experience for me, best part is that it's not costing me anything to do it.

Anybody know of a good BMW forum similar to this joint where I can ask stupid questions?

Here's what we did saturday. We took all of the moonroof crap out (not pictured), then removed the dash and I removed a lot of unnecessary wires/devices and rerouted the wires so it all runs down the sides. Look at all that crap we need to reattach to the dash. Nightmare.
