Default decision between 2002 gti 1.8t or 03 vr6

Can anyone help me out decide which car is a better choice, which one is more responsive and more fun to drive?

VR6 is more torquey and is overall more reliable and if you don't plan on modding it at all I'd go with the VR6

1.8T is easier to mod, more bang for your buck with simple upgrades, but also has several common problems that are a few bucks to fix.

I like my 1.8T but if I had to buy again I'd have gotten a VR6

I agree with Cody. Having had the opportunity to spend alot of seat time with both, the VR6 is bulletproof and extremely torquey. The 1.8T is easier to mod and a blast to drive but a bit more temperamental. I'd get the VR6.
