I know most of you hate hondas but im interested in the s 2000. Any info on them would be great. Like mechanical problems or anything. Or anything you like bout them. thanks.

the s2000 is not in the same catergory as what people who drive VW's refer to as "Hondas"

It's a very capable track car in stock form, hi-revving RWD sports car. From 2004 on it's a 2.2L I-4 making 237 hp with a 6 speed. It also gets a true average of 25 MPG. Consumer Reports classifies it as "Much better than average reliability", which means it's REALLY reliable. It's also a CR "Good Bet". (Sorry I just got the 2006 CR cars issue)

Not the most practical and has like 3 ft-lbs/tq, otherwise a nice car. Really nice looking and fast.

well i own a 99 toyota tacoma as well so this car wont be driven in rain, snow etc. just like my jetta. im hopefully test driving one tommorow. I test drove a TT and it was the smallest car i ever been in. I also test drove a 350z and fit good in it. but im leanin toward the s 2000.

Everyone pretty much would agree that I am a pretty big HONDA HATER. But not really hater of Honda's, jus the drivers that do pityful things to them. No when it comes to the S2000, that is in a whole different type of Honda. I personally like them, and would buy one if they weren't so exspensive. I mean the 2000 ones, are still in the 20's. But they pack a good punch, and are RWD. So you cant go wrong. They are slackin on the torque aspect, but what honda isnt. Not many peple have them, so thats a plus. Because I would personally go with the T or 350Z, but they are quiet popular. I would shot for it, if I was you. But then again, for the same price range; there are some other things I would have my eye on.

not a bad car. Pretty sweet. They handle like my mazda. It has a 50/50 just like the rx7/rx8 platform. thats makes for a realy great handling experience. I say go for it. You will have many great summers driving one.

I've never had a problem with not enough space...hell I fit a pait of skis and a snowboard plus boots, poles, clothes etc in mine before. Plus chip it and it will blow the S2000 away
