Default Twin Turbo Ford GT!!

Have yall seen this yet?

http://www.turbofordgt.com/

Guys name is Joe. He's in Jacksonville, FL...same place I live. Me and my buddies saw the car when he had it stock (he's a real tuner guy, not just some rich ass throwing money at a car and doesn't drive it....we see him out on saturday nights at the street races and the places everyone hangs out). Amazing piece of machinary STOCK.

He does some bolt ons and then adds a 150 (or so, i can't remember exactly, but it was 150 or 200) shot of nitrous and puts down around 800 and something to the wheels. He decided it wasn't enough and wanted more. So he had stage 6 motorsports and HP performance (stage 6 is THE import shop in jacksonville and HP is THE domestic shop...more ford then anything else, but generally domestics) throw on a twin turbo kit. TWO GT35R turbos.

It's all crazy because he throws down over 1000rwhp on the STOCK fuel and engine...doublind the wheel HP on stock EVERYTHING except a Y pipe that goes to two turbos and two tial wastegates from the aftercooler.

Check out the video...it's insane. It's crazy how a car like this is all over the internet that has basically thrown stage 6 and HP performance on the map as far as big tuners.

What's even funnier is that there is another shop in jacksonville...velocity trends that WAS bigshot along with stage 6. Stage 6 never had a dyno so they would build cars and have velocity tune them for their clients. Since Joe showed up he bought stage 6 a dyno...an AWD dyno...and after every in jax basically knows about the ford GT and that stage 6 played a HUGE part in the turbo development (HP was there for their ford knowledge, but did play a huge part in tuning and installation)...velocity is probaly going to be gone in a year. Stage 6 also just stole velocity's main tuner....hahahah. probaly because velocity was a dick to joe or someone who he asked which stop to go to first....they are notorious for having the DUMBEST sales people to every work in a tuner shop. MOST of their workers should be woring at advance autoparts...that's all they know how to do is search on a computer for parts.

EDIT: it's also crazy as hell that if you go to stage6motosports.com their is NOTHING but joe's GT all over the the page. That's all they are about right now. From what i've heard he basically owns stock in stage6, lol...if it were possible. They used to be THEEE import place to take your car to. The older guy you see in the video...he owns a nissan 240sx...that is putting down close to 400whp on a HUGE turbo with no intercooler (because the turbo is no where NEAR it's potential, so the air stays cool and dense enough to make good power)....it looks like a piece of shit on the outside....CRAZY ass sleeper.

Seen it; waiting for the guy to kill himself/others, or get thrown in jail and the car becomes gov't property.

well you know how at the end, he said "i just got beat by a turbo busa, guess i just ran out of HP...we'll see what we can do, i guess a bigger motor is coming next".

Well he just had a new motor install, fully built (it's like a 6. something liter or something like that, it's domestic talk when he told me)...anyways. it's built to handle 2400WHEEL HORSEPOWER! he SAYS that when he reaches 1600whp he will be happy, but as weird as he is about getting beat (hell, if the only things that could touch my car was TURBO busa's then i would be perfectly happy......and he has only lost ONCE to one).....he will probaly say he raced a fighter jet and lost so he'll need more power.

but anyways, whatever.

about the street racing part. In jacksonville, there are tons of back road streets that the only people who get hurt are yourself and the other person. everyone knows the risks....plus street racing is the roots of tuning, and he is not just some baller (but he does make plenty of money...basically he maked enough a month to buy a Ford GT and then have money to pay the bills and have more money left over to do some pretty nice stuff, so yea...he is on a different level then your average baller....but he worked for it so i'm proud of him and he deserves everything he is getting) that says hey i want a 1000whp GT just to say I have one and it's going to sit in my garage with the other 40 cars just to say i have them.

Well, I don't think it's very wise to go on camera and say that you street race. And the tuner shop that's using that very video for promotion is just asking for trouble.

At least they did some legit racing on the track.

He'll never beat turbo busas; They typically have a 1:1 power to weight ratio.

As far as street racing is concerned: I don't care if everyone does it down there. It takes just one innocent bystandard to make one wrong turn at just the right time and it's all over. It's one thing if you're risking your life, but it's quite another to put innocent people in harm's way for an adrenaline rush.

109 LUVR: never beat turbo busas? he already has, time and time again. he just happened to loose to a highly modded turbo busa. anyways...

just sharing a sweet ride.

even though the supra has my heart, a supra 1100whp supra has nothing on this 1100whp GT. It's a PURE BREAD sports car. It's purpose is to race DO NOTHING BUT THAT. trust me, i'm an euro/jdm dude waaaaaaay over any domestic shit, but i am a car car and as a car guy you have to give credit were credit is due and really love all cares.....

sorry it's a late reply....been having fun with my new bike and havn't been posting much or driving the Jetta.

he is in the computer IT/Programming field, owns his own business. He does it internationally too. So he makes more. I don't know if he wants his financial info all over the place, let's just say if he lived LARGE in a nice house and everything he makes enough money to buy a brand new ford GT every other month of the year.

Since I've been riding my bike and hanging out with the other guys who ride i met the guy who beat him on the busa. The bike was an NA busa. It does have a 175 shot, but he never used it to beat him. The same guy who owns the busa has a 8.5 second camaro and a 480whp gixxer 1000 turbo. He is the ONLY reason that Joe is rebuilding his engine....because he got beat by a $30,000 BIKE! WHO THE HELL CARES! The bike was the ONLY thing that could touch him. I still don't think that Joe's car will ever beat Troy's (the guys name who owns the busa) bike. He still has a 175 shot to spray on him that's controlled by a $3k computer that doesn't slam the shot all at once....if by SOME chance he does beat the busa then Troy has another bike with almost 100more HP that he can bring out and if you take the power to weight ratio of a almost 500whp bike vs. a 1200whp (which is what he's made so far with the new motor)....the bike will come out on top...EVERYTIME!....but man was it funny to hear the guys talk about Joe's reaction. Joe made him race 3 times to make sure he beat him fair. by the third time just about 100 people saw it and Troy made about 30 of them walk with him when he asked Joe "We're just going to say I beat you by 6 bike lengths....does that sound good to you?" and he finally agreed....at the end of the video when joe is back in his garage is when he got home that night. GOOOOD SHIT! HAHAH

I think it's pure ignorance that the ONLY reason Joe is building more power into the car is so he can have it so NOBODY can beat him....not even a bike (won't happen, he will need almost 1700whp to hang with a 500whp bike...and when he gets that much power he won't be able to hook up in that car or he will kill himself/destroy the car because he's just throwing money into and getting power, not knowing how to actually drive). One, that takes the fun out of it and TWO that's the wrong reason to build a car....it's going to get him killed because I don't think he really understand how much power is going down on those wheels. He doesn't run it at the track himself, he is hands on with the building of the car...he just throws money at two shops and tells them what he wants. That's not building a car.....I don't consider him a car guy, i consider him a RICH guy! and it kind of pisses me off.
