Default VWF Raises $900 for ALZ!!!

First and foremost thank you to eveyone who came out and supported the event; without you this event wouldn't of been sucessful. We had over 100 spectors and 40 show cars. I am please to annouce that we raised $900. (pause for clap)...I will be cutting a check to ALZ this week; I'm sure they will be pleased.

I should have a full recap of all the winners and pictures I snapped up sometime tomorow. Again many thanks!!!

Great amount!

A little more was raised last year, yes...but that was mainly due to one large donation made aside from what was raised at the BBQ.

does that amount include the raffles? Because I noticed that $900 equals 40 show cars and the spectators and nothing more.

This includes the Silent Auctions, Spectors, Show cars, donations. All the expenses I ate...don't have an exact count on spectors but I think the show cars was actaully 38...you get the idea. OK TY?

We had a great time and I just wanted to voice some appreciation for the people who spent a lot of time and effort putting the show together. It was my first show as a VW owner and we enjoyed ourselves. My parents were head of a car club for a while and put in a lot of hard hours before and after shows assembling and breaking stuff down, organizing, cleaning up, etc. Sometimes you don't realise how much goes into a show if you aren't included in the "behind the scenes" stuff. If you ever need anything, let me know, I would love to help.
Thanks! - Angie
