Default chestercopperpot: '95 GTI

Owner Member Name: Ben Kishbaugh
Year: 1995
Make: VdubYA
Model: GTI
Color: Black

Summary of the car:
It's a daily driver that at the moment has 173,000 miles on it. Traded a helios (which i now regret) in 2005 for the car. It was completely stock at the time with 114k on it at the time. Along with being moded, the car has come across another engine due to a lovely manhole cover that devoured the pan, pump, and bottom of the block. Along with the typical cooling nighmares, it's got the typical mk3 flaws but has been a great car in the last 2.5 years.

Pictures: see below

Engine Specs:
Stock 2.8L 12V VR6; neuspeed p-flow with k&n filter; self polished upper intake manifold; TT exhaust w/ borla muffler

Suspension & Wheels
shortly after buying the car i added an H&R 60/40 cup kit. Wheels have included stock MK3 long beach; Keskin KT1 klassics; Black B4 passat wheels; Mercedes SL 500; and now BBS RXII's w/ 16mm BFI spacers.

Exterior Specs:
just a Jetta front end w/ euro ecodes; VR lip; smoked side markers; stubby antenna; deleted hatch spoiler; ghetto textured bumper tops and side mouldings; laminex fog covers; OEM keyless entry; shocker sticker

Interior Specs:
Fiesta interior - stock; DE GTI shift boot, knob, e-brake handle; mk4 GTI Monster Mats; 98up air bag and steering wheel; added lower glove box; euro headlight switch

Notable Acomplishments:
2005 vwvortex '5 generations of GTI' booth @ waterfest '05; vwvortex 'debadged' video; no show wins; many cruises led to shows; 1 out driven police officer that wrecked in my driveway; multiple small game claimed by vr lips; boatloads of smiles on back country PA roads.

Comments:
thanks to vwforum, vwvortex, cepavw.org for all the motivation and inspiration. I've built a car that i like to look at and love to drive. if you dont like it - pound sand, but let's drink a beer at the next show.
