I agree on the cleanliness. I've seen a good many moded Caddys (most I would be afraid to drive, they were so low) but never have I seen a cleaner, neeter, more well done, Caddy. From what I can see, the only thing not absolutely perfect is the exhaust. It has a new Caddy system on it, but, since the Caddy never came with a turbodiesel, the exhaust is small.....perfect, but small.
The thing that amazes me, is that I was looking to import one from Germany, because there are NONE here, and then this one turns up about 15 minutes drive from home.

The battery is a brand new OEM VW battery. The other parts are OEM A1. And, yes, a ceramic coated downpipe from passengerperformance and stainless Techtonics exhaust is in the future.

The sneaky thing is, though it looks stock, it is far from it. It has a turbodiesel and a 5-speed. Neither of these came in a Caddy. It has a console with 3 gauges (no clock), nicer seats, etc., etc., etc..
The wheels are 14" A2 Jetta. BTW, they are original spotless paint and original Pirelli tires. Possibly one of my favorite wheels.

For now, the plans are simple.....drive and enjoy. In the near future, a spray-in bedliner and a nice tonneau cover. Later, wheels (no rush here) and possibly a GTD-type engine upgrade along with a larger downpipe and Techtonics exhaust.
I'm definitely gonna keep it simple. It already has a lot of nice little hidden gems like this;

Ok... now you gotta give me the part number from that...

I've been around VWs for over 40 years and never seen one before. I'm glad it's on my truck. It's just one more little gem.
